What CatchClock does today — and what's planned
CatchClock is a website today and an app later. There is no release date, no beta to join and no list to sign up for. Here is the honest split between the two.
Working today, on this site
Solunar major and minor windows for 15 US cities, with sunrise, sunset, moonrise, moonset and moon phase behind them, all computed at build time from published astronomical algorithms. A calendar file per city with a reminder before each major window. Species guides. No account, no payment, no email form anywhere.
Planned for the app
Every line below is a requirement, not a promise with a date attached. None of it is shipped, because there is nothing published to ship it in.

When another app is the better answer
If you need a sonar reading of what is under the boat, that is a hardware problem and Deeper solves it; nothing in a forecast does. If you need offline charts and marked waypoints, Fishing Points is built for that. If you want crowd-sourced catch reports from other anglers on your water, Fishbrain has a volume of them that a calculated forecast will never have. If you fish tidal saltwater and need the tide stage to the minute, go to the NOAA station predictions directly.
There are no ratings, install counts or reviews on this page for a simple reason: CatchClock has none yet, and inventing them is not an option.
