What the forecast is, and what it is not
Solunar theory comes from John Alden Knight, 1926. It is a prediction from sun and moon position, not a measurement of fish behavior, and the windows are an industry convention rather than a result: a major window is the two hours centered on the moon's meridian transit, a minor window the hour centered on moonrise or moonset. Weather, water temperature and pressure are not in it.
